Holding conversations in person and onstage is something I love doing. And when the audience questions get going you never know quite what is going to happen. In a good way usually!

Justin Webb of BBC Radio 4’s Today programme and I had plenty to chew over when we discussed Trumpworld - and there were quite a few laughs too!

Below, I’m in conversation with IPSO Chief Executive Charlotte Dewar and Chairman Lord Faulks. We ranged widely and I was able to put criticism of the organisation to them.

Thomas Friedman of the New York Times arrived in London soon after the re-election of Donald Trump so we discussed US politics and the Middle East in particular and world affairs more generally.

I loved talking to poets Monica Radojevic Jackie Kay and Kadija George about Poetry in Protest. Thoughtful writers with funny and moving stories.

John Crace is the sketch writer for the Guardian. He never fails to inform and entertain.
